Yellowdog Project – please keep your distance
It is as simple as it is brilliant: When you see a dog with a yellow ribbon/mark, it’s a signal to please keep your distance. Gulahund Yellowdog is a non-profit initiatve started in Sweden and designed to quickly make people aware of dogs that are in need of more space.
We can all respond to the needs of dogs that require more space with minimal effort.
curli strongly supports this effort and we are asking our loyal customers to spread the word and help build global awareness.
We are very pleased that there has been increased awareness of this project in recent months - remember, the more people who know about it, the better!
There are several reasons why a dog needs more space.
He can be sick or in training. Or he's traumatized, or he's healing from an injury or illness, or he's just old. But at first glance, when walking, you don't see whether the dog running towards you needs this distance. For exactly such cases there is an impressively simple and effective solution with the Yellowdog project: A yellow ribbon which is attached to the leash or harness.

So you can see from a distance whether the dog has special needs.
A simple loop with many advantages With this program the Gulahund Yellowdog organization provides several important benefits. It enables dog owners to take particularly good care of sensitive dogs. In addition, a space is created that benefits the dog and thus makes his life easier. It also can help keep people and their dogs passing by such dogs safe. The mark is cheap, easy to use and internationally applicable. It is easily attached to the lead and removed just as quickly.
Together for the welfare of the dogs At curli, our entire focus is on the health and well being of our pets, so this idea makes total sense to us.
We think that this idea is so good that we would like to introduce it to you in this newsletter.
Because the more people know about the yellow ribbon, the better the life of our beloved four-legged friends. Do you also think that the Yellowdog project is a good thing?
